Maple Mental Health provides a holistic approach to healing. Whether you are suffering with anxiety, depression, experiencing challenges in a romantic relationship, wanting a more harmonious family, or wanting to better understand how your past affects your parenting, our lifespan psychological practice provides tailored support and guidance. We work to uncover potential root causes of your struggles to allow space for healing and change.
As research clearly indicates, mental health is best supported by addressing the whole person. Working at the interface of attachment theory and neuroscience, having expertise in development across the lifespan means that suffering can be approached from a broad lens of then and there and here and now. Our approach to therapy is tailored and includes a comprehensive assessment of strengths and challenges. It balances understanding about the potential origins of suffering, with concrete planning, goals and monitoring. Services are provided both virtually and in-person.

Psychological, Neuropsychological and Psychoeducational Assessment
Dr. Brennan has expertise in psychological, neuropsychological and academic assessment. She assesses children and adults. Her approach to testing uses multiple assessments of different but complimentary types to produce an accurate and reliable picture of strengths and challenges. Importantly, reports come with extensive recommendations for support and improvement. Dr. Brennan has particular expertise in child assessments including ADHD. As attention can be affected by many different factors, this assessment is designed to be comprehensive in order to arrive at an accurate diagnosis and plan. This is especially impactful for the assessment of children where misdiagnosis can lead to unhelpful treatment. Note that aspects of the assessment procedure can be done virtually to maximize convenience and scheduling.
